MEET THE TEAM

The FOOTPRINTS Research team is made up of clinicians, researchers and experts from across Australia with experience working with children and families in the PICU and beyond. Their dedicated involvement has contributed to the design of the FOOTPRINTS Service and their guidance governs the progress of this research project. • Each participating hospital will offer the FOOTPRINTS Service over the two year period of the research study.

  • Staff who are passionate about improving care for bereaved families will lead this project at each site.

  • This includes doctors, nurses, social workers, psychologists and other experienced critical care professionals.

  • Planning for the future of bereavement care after the study ends is a key component of this project's research outcomes.
